PLUMBER, TILER & BATHROOM BITS

It becomes pretty exciting when you start to see your vision become a reality. We have been chipping away at the wet areas for a while now and of course have had to rely on some specialized trades to help us out. Sourced a couple of great tradies, but in the bigger scheme of things, our job is a rather small one for them, so they like to fit it in between the big jobs. And that is completely understandable. Hence the snail pace.

This is a pic of our en-suite vanity unit nearing completion. After lightly lime-washing the top of the camphor laurel timber, I decided to paint the edge in a solid white. Love it!

Steve had come highly recommended and we were not disappointed. He did a great job!

We love our 600x600 tiles and Steve managed to get all the finer details fully sorted. We are incredibly happy with our shower drainage system which has eliminated so many of the pitfalls that come with some of the other methods.

Carl did a masterful job creating a shelving system for underneath the timber bench-top. I knew exactly what I wanted as it needed to accommodate specific items which of course included creative wicker baskets.

And now it is time for the shower glass to be fitted. Very exciting!

And THIS is where our lovely en-suite now is......you've just gotta love a BEFORE pic!! Of course everything has been replaced including the old leaking window.
