LANDSCAPING STAGE ONE

The plans for the front garden have always been to make it as maintenance-free as possible, while still making it beautiful. The little cottage seems to lend itself to symmetry with its centralized front door in between two lovely Victorian windows. So you will now see the original plans begin to unfold. Enjoy! And keep your eyes peeled for the next Blog. You'll be glad you did I am sure.

Our lovely Iceberg Roses have been patiently waiting quite sometime for this day to come, so they are very happy and so are we.

'Straight and Narrow' lilly pilly's were the carefully selected plants of choice to be planted along the southern boundary of the front garden, where they will provide lovely evergreen foliage and quickly screen us off from the neighbour.

And down the Northern boundary we have planted Juniper Spartans, which will privatize us and deliver a thick evergreen narrow hedge to enjoy. We planted these as they grow tall and narrow and we were limited with this garden-bed right next to the driveway.

One side done and the other one begins...

BEFORE.....

AND EVEN BEFORE THAT!!!!
