Piccolo Rose had been having a little stay in a neighboring property until we made a home for her in our own back yard. We decided that we needed to create a spot right next to our shipping container where she could feel at home, and part of that system was to create somewhere to stack all our spare pieces of timber.
Carl was really excited about his new 'Tradie' clobber - well deserved I say!
Carl was on the shovel and I was on the rake - 3 tons of grey stones here we come.
Yep! Piccolo Rose will feel a sense of belonging right here.
We have also added a few more finishing touches to to 'Fiddle Leaf Barn', including this 'MASTER MASONRY' sign board which we found among the debris - not sure if it is at all terribly significant, but it looks kind of cool nailed to the back of the shed. Loving the new/old Vintage window too which I have now puttied and painted.
Carl worked hard to create a little entry for his shed, using grey stones which would be retained in a hardwood border. As you can tell he's had to cut around the tree roots to make it work.
The herb garden is looking more established at the rear of the shed
And the last thing for me to do was to putty and paint the very old vintage window in the shed.
