SOUTH WEST ROCKS GETAWAY

In the midst of winter and we escape to South West Rocks and stay in the caravan park right in town overlooking Horseshoe Bay. It's a great spot, but there are certain times of the year when you do have to deal with a bit of windy weather.

We do love that whole area and really enjoy a drive up to Smoky Cape Lighthouse and a visit to Trial Bay Gaol. If you haven't been then you must put it on your bucket list. Sometimes it's difficult to photograph Piccolo Rose because of the incredible reflections — other times it is sheer delight because of the reflections.
