With our hearts set on having a little vege garden at some stage and also a small orchard, we set about planning the general layout of the backyard space. 'Fiddle Leaf NEST' is born.
How amazing is this Fiddle Leaf fig? We have never seen one so advanced as this. Once all the rubbish was removed from around the base it really began to shine.
The little orchard consists of Ruby Red Grapefruit, Eureka Lemon, Meyer Lemon, Blood Orange and Passionfruit.
Wow! Greenery makes such a difference — we can't stop walking on our lovely new grass and taking lots of pics of it. Wonderful!
Loving our new green — well, not the house though! Eventually the house will be painted again and it will NOT be green.
