MY BOY TO THE RESCUE

Updated: Apr 9, 2020

From the moment we set eyes on this cottage, we knew the yard would need some serious work. Our son Klint had suggested that he could spend some time on his Bobcat to help us out. So after a couple of phone calls and fine-tuning the details, it all began to fall into place. He would arrive with his Bobcat along with his three young children for me to look after, while Carl helped him achieve the best results in the yard. Both things rather daunting as I had already committed to look after my daughter's three children as she was working. So with six kids to manage, two men to feed and me being overly sensitive that my husband was still extremely wobbly on his feet after his stroke, we hit the project head on!! And what a huge week it was too.

Endless trips to the 'tip' — 21 truck loads of rubbish to be precise! Just amazing! We so much appreciated the solid week of hard work that Klint did to help us out and of course our grandkids had lots of fun being involved in the process. Sime was a great support too especially in the tree falling process.

This huge cocos palm was approximately 70' tall, so it was quite a marathon for Klint to bring it down safely without it landing on the neighbours garage or smashing across the fence at the rear of the property. He did a sterling job and landed it like a pro.
