The lovely new picket fence looked rather lonely without some foliage gracing its presence, it was now time to add some gardens to catch the warm growing season. Beautification here we come!
Everyone loves a BEFORE and AFTER pic don't they?
Many souls walk along the pathway in our little Hamlet, right in front of our picket fence and now they will have their senses delighted as they stroll past the French lavender and the little Lobelia
We finished off the area between the gardens with some grey gravel to make it tidier until a driveway happens - all in good time
Stage two of the project was to create a little garden path to the front door. To do this we used tallow-wood recycled hardwood decking boards which had been donated to us. Of course I am yet to paint them dark grey. Sooo many jobs!
Inside the picket fence we have planted Stage one of our hedge planting and used Buxus Faulkner
Just a little reminder of what the place was like when we first got the keys. Click on the following link. https://piccolorose.wixsite.com/nest/post/day-one-and-the-gloves-are-on
